GALLOWAY

Galloway cattle are renowned for being one of Scotland’s oldest and purest native breeds. They are a very sturdy breed and are able to live off all types of land. The female sucklers are also renowned for producing superb beef calves that are of the highest quality. At the 2009 Royal Highland Show the Galloway breed won all the major trophies, something which had never been achieved before, truly highlighting the breeds overall qualities. Due to all of the above Galloway cattle produce a natural and flavoursome beef which is in high demand across the UK.
