Ingredients (serves 2)
2 lean beef sirloin or rump steaks
5ml (1tsp) oil from jar of sundried tomatoes
6 sundried tomatoes, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
8 black or green olives, pitted and chopped
30ml (2tbsp) half fat crème fraîche
1 ciabatta bread, sliced
Method
- Heat the oil in the frying pan and cook steak as per Cooking Chart on Page 4.
- Remove from pan and keep warm.
- Add remaining ingredients except the crème fraîche and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir through the crème fraîche.
Serve the pan fried steak with slices of ciabatta or sour dough bread, a large mixed salad and a spoonful of the Italian mixture.
